Los Angeles Fotofolio is an underground journal dedicated exclusively to black and white photography.

Fotofolio features large format photos from established and emerging photographers.

Each publication contains 16 pages in total, printed on 11.5" x 17" newsprint retaining an "old school newspaper" feel.

Fotofolio is a free publication aimed to reach different communities who would not typically be exposed to photography as an art form.

From a low-income housing project to a financial district, from a subway train to a downtown street corner, from art galleries and museums to schools and prisons, Fotofolio is available for free to everyone.

Fotofolio's story is told by each photographer that contributes their work.

Since photography is a universal language, and a picture tells a thousand stories, no text (besides a photo credit ) is necessary.

Let the viewer create their own interpretation of the images.
